How did I get into making Teddy Bears?
Welcome to my world of Bears!
Thank you for taking a moment to look at my bears. Let me introduce myself, I am Lin Caldwell.
It has been a dream of mine (and a lot of family prodding) to share my bears with others, hoping they bring a smile to your heart.

I love a good challenge!
This all began by a small challenge from my son, after a close friend had taken us to our first Bear Show. My son, Joe, was in search of the perfect "boy" bear.
"Mom, why are all these bears in dresses or frilly? Bet you could make one that could go fishing or play football with me!" So the three of us took a couple of bear making classes. I immediately fell in love with the creation process, and the many different personalities of the bears. It wasn't long before I became a bear club member, took a design class in October of 2000 and found a whole new world. After a year of designing and creating a house full of bears, along with a huge amount of support from family, friends, and teachers, I have decided to venture out on my own.
Can't believe - I DID IT!

Ready to go fishing, play baseball or football, go to the stock car races or what ever my son can think of to do for the day.
